Woke up today at 11ish am. Greatest and latest Ive woken up for some time. It was a pretty easy going day, went to breakfast
with my folks, had fried eggs, and BACONNNN!!! (same place as always, they didnt end up closing the pool or the restaurant
for that party, they did it elsewhere)
After that, I went downstairs to our room and got online to check the score on the Argentina Germany game, they didnt put
it on the tv for some reason but I got to do the livecast thing, and end up watching the penalty shoot-out, it was a crazy
game. (Germany won, for those who dont know).
After being online for some time, my parents left to the mall, the Galeria Diana, while I went to the pool by myself and listened
to my mp3 while I floated on the water :) life is great. I spend the afternoon at the pool, ate lunch there as well, and watched
the Italy Ukraine game while I ate the marvelous Quesadillas.
Even got some chance to watch family guy on my psp, isnt life great? Im definitely getting a pool if I buy a house, one with
a little bar and a deck.
After some time, my parents got back from the mall and joined me at the pool, my dad as always doing his sudoku and my mom
peacefully floating
I mentioned the swallows before, and I just HAD to take a picture of those awesome birds diving in the pool to get water:
At around 5ish 6ish we headed back to the room, as well as the bar closing, my mom had made reservations at 8 oclock at an
Italian restaurant and my mom wanted to stop back again at the mall to get something she wanted to get before and didnt.
We left around 7:15, there was traffic at the main street so it took some time to get there.
And yes, mom shopping means only one thing BOREDOM!
Straight after that, we headed to the other side of town, toward the hills, just next door to the place we went for dinner
yesterday to this Italian restaurant the mother of a friend of mine had recommended:
It was a small cozy place, really personal and we were the only ones there, but people here usually have dinner at around
9ish-10. The kitchen faced the main area, and at most, 20-something people could fit in that place.
The view as always was amazing, and they even had a terrace you could walk out to and see the horizon and the amazing sunset.
Found it amusing the little lizards crawling around the place, it wasnt unclean, but rather the opposite, plus the waiters
seemed used to it. At some point, I saw 2 of the lizards catch the 2 flies that were flying around, it was like discovery
channel live.
And now, the menu and the FOOOOD:
For my first plate I ordered the Bersaola Oleo e limone (Beef thinly sliced, just lightly Smoked)
For my main plate (2 entrada Le Paste), recommendation of the chef, the four cheese ravioli, REAAAAL goooood.
And for desert, Crème Roule
And that completed my night, along with the hilarious conversations on the table and the great company. Tonight I go to sleep
early, im tired as well as tomorrow is a long day.
Tomorrow is our trip to Caracas, Venezuela, Our first plane to Mexico City leaves at 6pm and arrived at 7pm, and our next
flight to Caracas leaves at 1am and gets there at 7 am. So, until then, I will be making my bags, and eating at airports.
