July 13 Update:
Got here on Monday, did nothing the rest of the day, cyrill is staying in my house with Margarita and her adorable puppies:
I took the chance also to call pretty much every person who owns a celphone, and got to talk to them for quite some while.
Went to sleep around 1ish.
Tuesday 11:
Slept in, called coach, but he didnt answer; then called my friend Carolina and she said whe was leaving the 12th instead
of the 14th, so it was either hang out with her that day, or not at all.
I went to sawgrass mall around 4pm, after getting lunch at KFC, and i met there with Carolina, Macri (her sister) and Joana
(Macri's Best Friend). We saw the Devil Wears Prada, which was surprisingly good. After that, we just walked around the sawgrass
mall for some time, had coffee (or in my case: Double Chocolate Chip Frapuccino) and then 8 o'clock showed up, and joana left
with some guy, so me and Caro and Macri left as well.
We went in my car up north to Boca, where they were staying, and decided to have dinner. Since many places were closed, we
ended up eating at the Cheesecake Factory.
Drove them home, or where they were saying at in Boca, and went to my house, this was around 11 or so.
Wednesday:
Woke up late, bought myself a pre-Birthday present (psp game), went to Borders with a friend, and then went to another friend's
house to pick up my movies from blockbuster that i lent him, brought him ice cream from coldstone's (PRETTY DAMN GOOD) and
went to sleep earlyish again.

Did Lunch with cyrill and Margarita at Ruby Tuesday's and later went to the movies to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean.
Soccer Practice 7-9:30 had a sugar low, got soaking wet and got bad news: Soccer games on saturday, sunday and monday (if
we dont win these three games, we dont qualify to regionals, which are in connecticut) and well, im the only goalkeeper of
the team, so ill keep you informed on that.
July 16 Update:
Thursday 13th Night:
Soccer practice, oh soccer practice
After the movies, i had to hurry home, find the gloves and shin guards and get ready for soccer and well, I didnt find the
bloody gloves, so I headed to soccer practice pissed. And well, as soon as you can say poop I had a sugar low, feeling dizzy,
having to sit out for part of soccer practice.
Friday 14th:
You gotta Verb it up and so I did:
Spent some time at the pool, doing exercise in the pool, getting back in shape for the soccer game on sat, and well, afterwards
just relaxed at the jaccuzzi.
After the pool, I called Lester and Nick and met up at Johnny Carinos Italian Restaurant where we had a Birthday dinner, was
feeling rather nauseous and stomachy at the end of the dinner though.
Saturday:
Soccer game: HORRIBLE!! 7-2 the score, we lost. I was blamed for everything and I blame the defense. The defense did nothing,
just handed the ball to the other team, didnt bother to run, didnt bother to cover, and by the end of the game they were entirely
discouraged. Goal Situations: I had a man cover my post in a corner kick, and well, I was hoping he was still there for when
the ball came, but no, he had moved to get the ball, rather ironic. Goal situation 2: Our team has it, 2 defense men have
it in the back, not shooting it, just dribbling, and well, he handed it to the other teams offensive player which just had
an easy shot. I stopped a penalty shot, and didnt even got a good save goalie, at least the team showed up Rather disappointing,
disappointing game and disappointing team.
After that, at around 9:30, I went to the movies with Brian, who I havent seen in quite some while (8 months or so). Went
to see You, Me and Dupree wasnt that bad of a movie, funny and the story was original. After that, I just drove him
to his house and went home myself.
Sunday:
So apparently I dont have a soccer game today, but tomorrow and next week, that is a relief, and it gives me time to relax
and get over my ankle which apparently I have severely injured, wearing an ankle brace right now. No plans for later today
really, and I dont think on making any.
July 18 Update:
Monday:
Soccer game today, drove around, went to Bestbuy and got 2 cds; just took care of myself, treated myself in some way before
the soccer game.
Soccer game at 7:30 ... or so it seemed ... I got there at 7:20 pm and was scared that i was at the wrong place. Coach showed
up at 7:40 and told me that the game was at 9pm, but he had convocked everyone at 7:30 to talk and to warm up well.
Warmed up, got people to shoot some balls at me when my ankle started to ache again, and my arms started to grow a little
weak.
Game started at 9 pm sharp. Minute 20, a goal comes in, not my fault, the defense had lost all cover. Few minutes later and
the 2nd goal came in. Close to the end of the first half, i jump to grab the ball, when to my surprise, an offensive player
of the other team pushes me, i fall, but my ankle falls and slips on a whole, making it ache. The ball went in for the third
goal, but i did not stand up. Because of my injury, i was subbed, just watching from the bench, the rest of the game.

The game ended 6-3. I learned one big thing about the other team: 3 players play for the Metrostars (yes, the MLS team), 2
play for the U.S. National Team and the rest play for a premier league of college. So now i can say i played against pro's,
too bad that it seems like this is my last game
Wednesday July 19
Woke up late, in excruciating pain. Had lunch at home, and later dedicated myself to find a sports med physician (who i didnt
need and told me to go to an ortho), called 5 ortho, and none could help me (1st one only did hands, 2nd and 3rd only worked
with kids under 16, 4th didnt work that late, 5th didnt answer the phone) so i decided to go to the hospital (this was around
4:30)
Went to the ER, and very short after, i was taken to the minor care dep, the exact same place and bed i was when i had my
car accident; i even got to see the doctor that treated my arm.
Got my X-rays taken, and then waited ... and waited ... and waited ... Just watched the news on the tv (horrible whats happening
in the middle east) and then some comedy shows we managed to find.
After 2 hours or more of waiting, the doctor finally came. He looked at the X-rays and such, and gave me the veredict.

I didnt have a fracture thankfully, but i did have a sprained ankle, 4th or 5th time it happens on this foot alone. The nurse
wrapped it up, and the doctor told me to walk on crutches for the following weeks, not to carry weight for 2 or 3 days and
to go to the orthopedic doctor to get a cast on my foot and get physical therapy.
Got out around 8 pm, and well, walking on crutches aint so easy. I was given pain killers, and those got me all tired and
drowsy. So tomorrow i will wake up early to make an appointment, and we shall see ... rest till then
July 20 Update:
Thursday July 19
Woke up at 9 am to find an ortho who could see me that same day, and after about 5 tries, I found one. Made an appointment
for 12:45 and kept sleeping till little before that time.
Seyril drove me to the Ortho, not too far away, and well had problems with the secretary. She told me I needed a referral
from my doctor, and well, I dont have a doctor; so we were there about an hour trying to solve the problem. Later I went in,
and yet again I had to get X-rays taken. Then the doctor attended me and told me that I had a sprained ankle and little pieces
of bone were loose in my ankle, as well as one of my bones had stopped growing a while back and that was the reason for why
I would keep spraining that ankle. He put my ankle in a splint (half cast / half bandages) and told me to keep on my crutches.
Later that day, after being in the doctor for about 2 hours or more, I went out with Chris. We went to see a movie, and well,
he made me drive about 30 mins in the rain, with my foot in a cast, to go see him, tisk tisk hehe just kidding. He was somewhat
upset for external reasons, and somewhat quiet, distant and rude after I had busted my ass to get my own ass over there, but
it was ok, I understood why. We watched An Inconvenient Truth at about 7:10 pm.
This movie had Al Gore as the narrator, and the movie is pretty much about a presentation he gives in different colleges around
the world. The movie was good, just that most things mentioned in the movie, I already knew. Got in better moods and went
out for Gelato. Sat there for a while just talking and eating ice cream, had a good time overall. Later left for home and
attempted to sleep with my ankle all wrapped up, which makes it reaaaaally warm and uncomfortable.
Friday July 20
Slept in till late, REAALLY late
Woke up and headed out for food, got burger king and got a movie at blockbuster. Then headed to Walmart and stayed there for
an hour. They gave me that wheelchair to drive around, so of course I had to stay there for a long time, bought a lot of stuff
not going to say how much I spent though.
Didnt want to stay home today really, ive been hyper in some way lately, so I went out to the soccer fields where I used to
practice, first to see if my team was practicing, and then to take some pictures and feel the soccer fields, as this field
could possibly be the last fields where I play soccer ever. I reached the top, dont think I could go any higher in my soccer
career, so I have made the unanimous choice of retiring from soccer.

Went to chilis afterwards and had dinner there. IT poured rain, and as I walked ou of chilis, my good foot got soaked in water,
ankle high, huge pond of water that built up in the street that I didnt see. I was walking in water. Later, a relaxing night
at home, time to think, time to relax. I should stay at home more, and showering is always a hell with a cast, gotta bag it
up and then duct tape it.
A little anxious about my MRI tomorrow, as well as I dont know if the doctor is going to review the MRI tomorrow instantly.
They used to call me Spider-man ... but this spider got crushed
JULY 21 UPDATE:
Friday July 21:
Doctors appointment at 1pm at the Lauderdale Orthopaedic Surgeon L.L.P. to get my M.R.I. scan of my left foot. Found out the
name of my doctor there, his name is Paul M. Greenman, D.P.M., P.A.
Got there around 1:30, the weather was incredibly horrible for those with crutches, but amazing for those at home looking
out the window.
Had to stop by as well through the bank to take out money.
As soon as I got there, they told me to drop my pants and wear some of those blue disposable shorts, really sexy, too bad
I didnt get to take a picture of that. Had my MRI, but to my surprise, it takes one hour to do it. For that hour, you have
to be 100% immobile, and laying down with your foot on some special apparatus. The machine was pretty awesome, it covered
this whole room and was surrounded by thins round metal cylinder, somewhat like a cage, that somewhat makes you uncomfortable.
So yes, I fell asleep as they took the test, and even though the machine makes some really high noises, I got a pretty good
sleep. For the test they had to remove my cast, and well, the smell that emanated from it was not the least pleasant. It still
hurt, surprisingly, couldnt really step on it, and well I got to clean it with some alcohol wipes.
After the test, which ended at around 2:30, they sent me back to that little room, and waited there till 3 when the nurse
came back, she was taking care of another patient, and she put the cast back on my foot. I have to go back on wednesday for
the results and the doctors veredict.
Went to Taco bell after that, and made a visit to blockbuster where I stayed for a while talking to Jon, the manager of the
store. Went home, and short after, it was already time to go to Dinner. I had promised Seyril and Margarita that I would take
them out to dinner to thank them for all the help and care they have provided this week. We went to Stir Moon (Thai and Japanese
Restaurant). Checked next door, at the Fondue Place to see if my friend Istvan was working, but he works tomorrow, might end
up going there tomorrow to see if I can see him, havent seen him in over 3-4 years.
To start with, I had the Spring rolls:
Then stood up, and went to the line where, under a lot of difficulty, I got my stir fry cooked at the moment. Got to choose
my vegetables, my meat (chicken), my sauces (Teriyaki and Sweet and Sour) and the Noodles.
Had someone take my plate to my table since I cant do shit with crutches, and carrying something is nearly impossible.
It was really good, but it was too much. Later went home, got there at around 8:30 and since, just relax, rest (im exhausted)
and watched movies. Have planned to watch these today:

I watched Alfred Hitchcocks The Birds yesterday, really good, I plan on watching all of he Alfred Hitchcock movies. Incredible
the special effects in this movie, knowing that its a movie from 1963, definitely had to watch the Extra Content in the DVD.
IT is a true must see classic.
I have to look for a new appartment today since i told my landlord i wasnt staying in that appartment for next year, other
than her raising the rent by $200 per month, i also like the change.
P.S. To those who commented on the last entry about the sign on the cart that says "In-store use only," I HAD PERMISSION TO
DO REMOVE IT FROM THE STORE!

JULY 22 UPDATE
Saturday July 22
Waked up late-ish, got some rest. Woke up in a rather odd mood, and was made into a worse mood by other people around me.
Had lunch at taco bell and went to blockbuster like always. Went home, and it got worse and worse. I got home at the same
time as my brother, who is going to start saying at the house for the weekend. He brought along his dog, so that makes it
3 dogs in this house, his dog who is in heat and Lucky, who is just horny. My brother was organizing a BBQ/reunion thing at
the house, so I decided to go out for dinner (this was about 6 pm).
I went to Fondue It, wasnt hungry yet, so I decided to pay a visit to my friend Istvan, who I havent seen in about 4 years,
I used to go to highschool with him in Venezuela. Saw him there, and saw another guy that used to go to the same highschool
and also went to the Quinceanos of Tina, and no wonder he seemed somewhat familiar.
I got more upset, people kept pushing my buttons, so I decided to go to the beach and relax. A year ago I used to go to the
beach at night, and just relax and enjoy the sound of nature just to calm myself and become one with nature.
Went to Primanti Bros (Pizza Place) its on Sunrise Blvd and A1A, and ordered my Pizza to go. Walked to the other side of the
street (where I had my first date) and just sat with my pizza and Coke on a chair that was there. I hate that they took the
lifeguard watch towers away, they were so great to sit in and look at the horizon.
So yes, you have me there, in my crutches, barefoot, in the sand (really difficult to walk in) just eating my pizza, relaxing,
just sitting back, enjoying the breeze and the silence.
And well, I decided to take a walk around the beach, next to the shoreline, even got to get a little bit in the water. Let
me tell you, those crutches were sinking in really deep, but how I love the feeling of sand between my toes.
On my way back, I notice something really cool, what I had thought was just a warning tape around weeds, it was actually a
turtles nest, so I decided to stick around those for a while.
At the time of leaving, I got a call from my friend Nick. I told him about my current location, and he told me he was going
out with someone or somesuch. The more curious thing was that he told me that he had a friend from out of town at Beach place,
right next to where I was, and he was alone and since he couldnt hang out with him, asked me if I could. So I headed to the
Beach Place, off to meet Stephen, supposedly 17, but when I got there, he told me he was 15. We met at Hooters, just sat there
getting to know each other, talking and such, he is from Key Largo. We went to Sawgrass mall after that, just got to walk
around for a while, and get ice cream and pretzels. Later on we went to his house, rather, his grandpas house, where I met
his grandpa and grandma, and well, his grandpa helped me up the stairs, now that I look back, I get some laughs out of it.
Watched part of Syriana with his grandpa and later just played video games when his grandpa kicked me out because of his curphew.
Later I just went home (around 12:30 am) and now watching movies.
Summary for today: Sleep, eat, be pissed, eat, meet up with old friends, be pissed, go to beach, walk on the water, meet someone,
be helped by the grandpa of someone I met the same day up the stairs, movies; end up with one more friend and more people
to be pissed at.
JULY 24 UPDATE
Sunday July 23:
Days seem to start of slow and relaxing at home, and then plans show up. Went to sawgrass and went into Ron Jon Surf shop
were i just hung out till my friend showed up.
Went to the movies after that, at the same sawgrass mall. We got to see My super ex-girlfriend at aroun 5:35pm.
It was good, and right after that, in the pouring rain, i went home where Cyrill was, it was her b-day, and we had cake, and
got to watch part of the miss universe contest.
Went to sleep late, watched Don;t Move (italian movie) which wasnt as good as i thought it would be.
Monday July 24
Woke up late again, had lunch at home, just hung out by myself, didnt really leave home, just for dinner, which at that point
i was tired of being at home. Went to Fondue It in weston with my friend nick at around 7.
The food was awesome, had a beef and chicken fondue:

Later went home and just rested, watched tv and hoping tomorrow would come.
AUGUST 1 UPDATE
Wednesday July 26:
Today I wake up to go at 1:30 pm to Dr. Greenman to check out the results of my M.R.I.
I get there and the Doctor has the somewhat better news: I have a sprained ankle, with a torn ligament, bone is swollen, but
nothing too serious. All of these injuries are following past injuries. The only thing that concerned me was that he said
I had loose pieces of bone all around my ankle, and the reason that I sprain my ankle, 1 is because the bone is not fully
grown, it stopped growing when I was about 10 and 2 past injuries. The doctor said that if I sprained my ankle again, I would
need surgery, he would tighten my ligament. Other than that, he put a cast on my ankle for 2 weeks (its ORANGE), at least
I can walk now, and after those 2 weeks I need to do physical therapy and later for one whole year, use a custom made ankle
brace, and then for the rest of my life, every day, use a generic or my custom made ankle brace.
Just if people are wondering oh, how do you drive then? yes I use my right foot to drive, my left one is the one in the cast,
and I drive automatic.
Right after getting out odf the doctor, I get a call from my sister in law, she had arrived from Caracas that day, only thing
is that no one could drive her up to the house. She was indeed in the Dolphin mall, Carolina had left her there, and her luggaga
was at my dads and godfathers store. She asked me if I could pick her up, and I willingly did. I first went to Obees my dads
store to pick up the luggage that was there, and previously I had called Felix so he could prepare me my lunch from there
(the typical, a chicken grilled wrap, with mozzarella, bacon, tomato, mayo and onions).
From there I proceeded to go to the Dolphin Mall to get Mariaka, and while I waited to get her, I went into Borders and looked
at books.
After Picking her up we went to her uncles house, my godfather, to drop her off, and almost everyone there didnt know she
was coming, she wanted to surprise them. Stayed there for dinner, my godfather did a BBQ, beef wraps. Stayed up there till
late, watching Baby videos of Nicolas and just talking and gathering around the pool.
Thursday July 27:
Went shopping to the Pembroke Lake mall with my cousin, Carolina, and my sister in law. Stayed there for 3-4 hours, got my
hair cut and such, but really didnt buy anything except for this really awesome hoodie which was on sale. One thing I noticed
was that they totally redid the Pacific Sunwear store, its all modern now and looks a lot more designer. They removed a lot
from the store, and now think they are going for the Hollister look, but still with some sales.
After the mall closed, we left, straight to our godfathers house were we ate dinner, spaghetti, and watched Mariakas wedding
video (I appear in it )
Friday July 28:
A day of watching movies at home, but later that night went to my God fathers since mariaka had called me and told me that
my godfather was doing his famous bbq wings. Went there and Felix was there, as well as Carolina and my godfathers family.
(photos may be blurry since I took them with my camera phone and it was dark) I got to get into the pool, my godfather lent
me a bathing suit, then wrapped my cast in a towel, and 2 plastic bags with a lot of duct tape. Got in the Jacuzzi and the
pool, but always with my left leg outside the water just in case.

There were many sauces for the wings (always a mixture of ingredients: bbq sauce, spicy sauce, buffalo sauce, pesto sauce,
lemon, honey and more)

Saturday July 29:
A day of relaxing at home, resting and tranquility. Watched movies and such, went to Wal-Mart with all the patience in the
world and to Gamestop.
Sunday July 30:
Went to sawgras mall with Mariaka, stayed there probably for 6 hours and walked through the whole mall, including the new
part, the Colonnades. Let me remind you that the Sawgras mall is the biggest outlet mall in the world. I did all of this willingly
of course. I only bought a shirt, an AWESOME casual tie and a polo that were on sale, and some key chains for my collection.
Spent most of the day strolling around in the little shopping cart, good thing was that I could use it to sit down and rest
my leg. Mariaka got fed up with the mall first than I did, that kinda shocked me, and well, she did buy 11 items in one same
store after trying on about 15, she is selling clothing, so she buys to her taste (which is good) and later goes back to Venezuela
and sells the clothing.
Between us, she went into a babys clothing store (what is that about?) :
Later that night, when it was time to leave, we went to the Grand Lux Café, right outside the sawgras mall, where the Colonnades
is. Amazing, brand new place and let me tell you that the menu is amazing, specially the prices.
The drinks from the bar were exquisite and the presentations were luxurious.
As an entrée we ordered Spinach Dip and Chips with avocado and cheese. The dip was AMAZING, even after my main plate came,
I would still keep eating the chips with the dip.
For main plate, I had the Island Ribs, the most tender, off-the bone, succulent ribs ive ever had really.
Later that night I dropped Mariaka at my godfathers and stayed a while to watch the rest of the wedding video.
Tuesday August 1:
I rest today, try to get in touch with people I havent talked to or reached. Went to the Pembroke lake mall once again, I
knew what I was buying though, bubble bath and 1 cd at FYE. After that, I went to different blockbusters, including my own,
to rent Spirited away, which ive been dying to see, but then again havent found it anywhere, I did find it this time though,
and stayed talking with the people who worked at the Pines Blockbuster. Later went to my usual Blockbuster and talked with
the people there for a little before I headed out home again with V for Vendetta, everyone has been talking about this movie,
hopefully its all they say it is.
My cast made a rash on my leg because of the friction on the edge, plus it feels all sweaty inside of the cast, need some
time to rest that foot, it doesnt hurt or anything, but it can become an annoyance. People have signed it as well.
